You can get:
Filezilla at http://sourceforge.net/projects/filezilla
SmartFTP at http://www.smartftp.com
Hostname: yourdomain.com (Change to your domain or server name. If you are on a Windows server and have purchased a dedicated IP, use the dedicated IP.)
Username: cpanel username
Password: cpanel password
Passive FTP: ON for linux accounts, OFF for Windows accounts
For additional FTP accounts you have created, be sure to use the full format user@yourdomain.com as the username with the password you created for that FTP account.
If you use Internet Explorer to FTP, enter ftp://username:password@yourdomain.com (change username and password to cpanel username and password, yourdomain.com to your domain) If that does not work, try using ftp://username@yourdomain.com . That should bring up a login box to enter the password.
We recommend using a regular FTP program for FTP accounts you have created yourself because Internet Explorer has a hard time dealing with the username with an @ symbol in it. You can use ftp://yourdomain.com@yourdomain.com for these but it may not show all folders after logging in.
SFTP is not supported at this time.
